Puppet warp

This feature never showed up on my old computer. I guess cause i have the 64 bit version on photoshop that I have a different story going on. Not sure. :p Last night, a friend inspired me to make a mask on the tattoo layer cause she bought a low price mask but had to keep it far from her face to work. I wasn't really up for designing one from scratch but i did want one. So....I used a picture i found that just made a great mardi gras mask...sadly...it looked like this...

Sorta makes me sad to look at it hehe.
Not much of a smiley face and not flattering for a female. So.....I went into photoshop and edited it. While editing i ran into a feature called "Puppet Warp" It was quite interesting. it has limits but you can curve and redesign pieces using it. I was able to turn it into a full female smile. :D This "mask" uses the tattoo layer, so it does conform to the face. Because it is a mask, i saw no reason to detail it to the face to give the face features

version of the mask to fit more of a female face. I'm going to sell both versions cause it can go on a male or female face. Sadly the ads suck XD for it on the marketplace. It was like five in the morning when i got done. I also realize that naveh and janay have different lips. O_o hum. On this it makes janay have wide lips while naveh has the sweet pucker-up style. :P Kiss me baby. But thats the advantage o it being on the face to conform to your face. Below is just how the different versions look. Its only a change to the lips. I thought the rest was fine. It shows parts of the eyes and so forth cause i felt is a mask so it should do that. Most masks i've warn is. It has a drop shadow to it ot create as if it were lifting off the skin.

I also made a version to go on the face. it suits my artistic sie. You can show your face but have the shadings to the mask. I like it. I'd wear this version to the Mardi Gras party tomorrow night at abby's. Just need a dress :D maybe i'll go as a jester...hum what to wear! :P

Happy Fat Tuesday everyone!

The difference in graphic cards....

As I said, I got my regular computer back from best buy after it being out for two or three months cause it turned out theres was a glitch in the asus energy settings that made it overheat to the point it melted the laptop inside and out. I was estatic to get it back cause I could be in sl more and see sl the way it should been seen, instead of the bad graphics on my old computer. As much as I love my old computer, it made just for listening to music and browsing the internet...which it does wonders with :P Gettting my computer back though didn't realize how great it would be in designing til i fixed my photoshop issue. I went into photoshop to fix the pictures stored on this computer. Below is "Ninja Nay". Its just a form I take to joke around with friends. I pretend to be a ninja then hump them :P hehe. Anyhow, I was working on it then I needed to get closer. Getting close on my old computer was a pain. I just figured it is just an eye issue or something else....Deciphering what was what could be a complete pain. Sometimes I would step away from the computer after a while. A lot of times i removed the wrong thing or completely screwed up.

As you cna see, I was wrong. Its clear and perfect. I can fix things without any issue what so ever. I can tell what pixels are what. I don't worry about removing the wrong ones. Makes me excited for designing clothes and tatts when I get back to it. Looks like I might be able to next week. Just depends on what happens by friday. I found lots of photoshop videos too! woot! Imma watch those over the weekend.

:P I'm easily distracted...especially when i been up all night. No reason, just having fun. Sorry. But I learned something interesting....if you have issues with creating details or getting close then its the graphics card. In many situations a good processor and graphics card can make all the difference! it makes an amazing one here. Due to this only being a laptop, I need to keep this in mind when i get a desktop. A desktop can handle many more things. I'll need that when i get to further levels like scultpies and so forth. ITs good to have a powerful computer for 3d modeling and other things involving second life.

And thats my discovery for today. :D Enjoy!

My serenity

*Cross posted with my regular sl blog*
I sit here and stare. I can stare for endless hours thinking of nothing. I enjoy the light and the emptyness. Most would be concerned or worried. Some would think something's wrong. But, there is peace in this emptiness. Peace that keeps me here and happy. There is a lot of peace in the silence. When the world is crazy and full of noise or tries to keep me going constantantly, I know I can turn here and find peace in the silence. The peace it gives me is the time I have to think and to feel calm. I love the feeling when i have my moments of peace. Its so beautiful when i can just sit here in the peace. Many don't know how many endless hours i spend sitting here and sitting. Sometimes life can get calm or i get so caught up in it that i forget the goodness that is in these moments. I start to feel silly just sitting here staring at emptiness. I forget how helpful it can be for me.

If anyone ever says whatever gives you peace is crazy or unusual...some may say its stupid....tell them it is what you do and don't worry cause they will never understand. We all have crazy and unusual things that are us..but isn't that what makes us who we are? I'm secretly an artistic person. I love the arts. I've forgotten how much I love them til Lina got me messing into photoshop. I love the ability to create in second life. I've always admired it, but i never thought to do it myself. I always said it wasn't me. i'm not a fasion person. I'm not into hair, houses, or any of that. Turns out that I don't need to be. It lets me release a side of me i lost in touch ten years ago. It makes me happy to create in my free time. I can envision what I want and attempt to create it. Thats all we really need is a creative desire to make something more. To know ourselves enough to know what we want and what we wish to create. What may seem empty is full of many things.
